Fillmore typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Genesee Valley proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jaguars have posted since April 30th.

Genesee Valley is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Fillmore, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.
