Basketball Recap: Ava Tita and Niella Sebit Secure Win for Juan Diego Catholic

Juan Diego Catholic hadn't done well against Juab recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Soaring Eagle secured a 47-42 W over the Wasps. This was payback for the Soaring Eagle, who suffered a 53-33 loss the last time these two teams met.

Juan Diego Catholic was led to victory by Niella Sebit and Ava Tita. Sebit went 9-for-14 en route to 25 points and three steals, while Tita dropped a double-double with 13 points and 18 boards. Sebit is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Fry, who posted eight points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.
