Volleyball Recap: Faith Christian Lions vs. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves
Faith Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.
While Faith Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 25-12.
Faith Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-17.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sacramento Adventist at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, they will welcome John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
