Volleyball Recap: King Philip Regional Warriors vs. Bellingham Blackhawks
King Philip Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Bellingham Blackhawks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blackhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.
The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-8, 25-19.
Jett Tucker paced King Philip Regional's offense, picking up eight kills. Tucker got some help from Hayden Patel and his 21 assists. Patel was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
King Philip Regional's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Bellingham, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
