Baseball Recap: Reynolds Comes Up Short

Reynolds was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Sandy Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 last Friday.

Reynolds' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Sandy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Reynolds will take on rival Clackamas at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sandy is set to face off against their familiar foe Nelson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pioneers 3.2, Nelson 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
