Moses Lake's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Eisenhower, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
Friday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Moses Lake hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .403. Moses Lake got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Eisenhower by a conclusive 20-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mavericks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
