Jim Ned has gone a perfect 7-0 against Breckenridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Indians will head out on the road to take on the Buckaroos at 7:00 p.m. Jim Ned will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Jim Ned lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Comanche, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. Jim Ned claimed a resounding 56-3 win over Comanche. That 53 point margin sets a new team best for Jim Ned this season.

Cash Gwinn was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 283 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 43 yards and one score. Those 283 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Breck Lawson also deserves a mention for his punt return touchdown.
Jim Ned's run defense was locked in: Comanche could only muster 2.4 yards per carry. While five picked up at least five total tackles, Garon Beasley stood above the rest. He picked up 99 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Jim Ned's run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 3.03 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 5.73 on average over their last five games.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Jim Ned, racking up 14 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Lawson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 7-7 at halftime, Breckenridge was not quite Clyde's equal in the second half on Friday. They took a 22-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The defeat continues a trend for the Buckaroos in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.
Even if they lost, Breckenridge's defense still kept up the pressure with six sacks. In that department, Glen Thibodeaux was the leader with two.
Breckenridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Jim Ned, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Jim Ned has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 156.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Breckenridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging 148.7 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Jim Ned against Breckenridge in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 48-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
