Football Recap: Coral Glades Takes a Loss

Coral Glades lost against South Plantation back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The match between the Jaguars and the Paladins didn't end well, with the Jaguars falling 31-14.

Despite the loss, Coral Glades still got an impressive performance from Anthony Casseus, who rushed for 132 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries. Casseus' longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Kamary Cooper went supernova For South Plantation., rushing for 180 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, and also picking up 60 receiving yards. Dylan Zaldumbide did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 87 receiving yards.

Coral Glades' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Coral Glades will take on Coral Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Plantation, they will challenge Piper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
