Volleyball Recap: Mahopac Wins Going Away Against Peekskill

Mahopac had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Peekskill on Monday. The Wolf Pac were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Red Devils. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Mahopac walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-16, 25-16.

Isabella DeChico paced Mahopac's offense, picking up nine kills. DeChico got some help from Lily Slizowski and her 11 assists. DeChico was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Mahopac has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Peekskill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Mahopac will welcome Arlington at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Peekskill, they are taking a road trip to take on Carmel at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
