Volleyball Recap: Grafton Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Grafton and Fairmont Senior had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bearcats fell just short of the Polar Bears by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. Bearcats fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Polar Bears since Wednesday.

Grafton's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Fairmont Senior, their win ended a seven-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grafton will welcome Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fairmont Senior, they will challenge Lewis County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
