Baseball Recap: Colleton County Comes Up Short

Colleton County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hilton Head Island Seahawks. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 20, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Colleton County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-2. As for Hilton Head Island, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Hilton Head Island will face off against Sevier County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Colleton County will be paying especially close attention to the Seahawks' match: after the Seahawks faces off against the Smoky Bears, they'll take on Colleton County again at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
