Scottsdale Preparatory Academy extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Brielle Amarel. The Spartans put the hurt on the Red Rock Scorpions with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday for which the team can thank Amarel, who had ten digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Scottsdale Preparatory Academy took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-9, 25-11.

Scottsdale Preparatory Academy's win bumped their record up to 22-10. As for Red Rock, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-15.

Looking ahead, Scottsdale Preparatory Academy will take on Fountain Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Red Rock, they will square off against Kingman Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
