Baseball Recap: Moscow Takes a Loss

Moscow couldn't beat Sandpoint on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Bears fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 7-6. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Andrew Hurley was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Moscow's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Sandpoint, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Moscow by a score of 6-5 later that day.
