Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kankakee Valley). They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Washington Township Senators on Saturday. Landon Palfi was a massive factor in the win as he booted in five goals all by himself.

Kankakee Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four matchups. As for Washington Township, they dropped their record down to 2-12-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
