The Addison Knights will head out to challenge the Jasper-Troupsburg Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Addison is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.3 runs per game this season.

Addison's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Monday's struggle, when Avoca Central hitters got past them. The Knights took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Monday. The match marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Andrew Jones made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Miller, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs.

Meanwhile, Jasper-Troupsburg came into Monday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on Friendship with a sharp 20-14 victory on Monday.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Addison, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Addison couldn't quite finish off Jasper-Troupsburg when the teams last played back in April of 2023 and fell 7-5. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
