Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Bishop Neumann

Bishop Neumann barely beat Ashland-Greenwood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cavaliers blew past the Bluejays 3-0 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Cavaliers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Bishop Neumann didn't let Ashland-Greenwood take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-22.

Kyler Cada paced Bishop Neumann's offense, picking up 14 kills. Cada got some help from Ila Bolden and her 25 assists. Madison Wiese controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Bishop Neumann's victory bumped their record up to 26-7. As for Ashland-Greenwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-8.

Bishop Neumann will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bluejays: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
