Franklin Pierce took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Clover Park, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Clover Park beat Fife 53-47.
Kamila Salanoa was a one-man wrecking crew for Clover Park as she dropped a double-double on 27 points and 21 rebounds. The match was Salanoa's third in a row with at least ten points. Andralynne Harless was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 15 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Franklin Pierce couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 59-23 loss at the hands of Stadium on Wednesday. Franklin Pierce was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-5.
Clover Park now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Franklin Pierce, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Everything came up roses for Clover Park against Franklin Pierce when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 59-29 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clover Park since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
