Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Jayden Anderson stepped things up a notch to give Independence the 'W'. Anderson wasn't messing around, putting up 19 points and eight boards. The contest was his third straight with 17 or more points.
Anderson and Independence will welcome St. Thomas Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have some work to do to even out the 1-6 series between these two since November of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
