Basketball Recap: North Comes Up Short

North lost against Carl Hayden Community two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs had to suffer through an 87-46 loss at the hands of the Falcons. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why North lost, don't look at Zion Gilmer. Despite the final result, he posted eight points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Devion Garcia, who put up ten points.

North's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Carl Hayden Community, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coincidentally, North and Carl Hayden Community will both be playing Metro Tech the next time they take the court. The Falcons will host the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
