For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Stanton County and Wichita County have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Trojans came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Indians on September 9th, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

The win didn't come easy: Wichita County scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21.

Stanton County's victory bumped their record up to 11-7-3. As for Wichita County, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-11.

Coming up, Stanton County will take on Cimarron on Saturday. As for Wichita County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Southwestern Heights on the 30th.
