Volleyball Game Preview: Long Reach Lightning vs. Howard Lions

Long Reach is 0-10 against Howard since October of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Lightning will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Long Reach turned things around against Hammond on Wednesday. They blew past the Golden Bears 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Howard got the win against Hammond on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Howard was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-4, 25-14.

Howard's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Long Reach, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
