Westfield suffers eighth straight loss on the road

The Westfield Bombers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Pittsfield 90-31. Westfield was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.
Makai Shepardson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Pittsfield, scoring 20 points. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Da'Sean Brown, who scored 13 points.
Westfield bumped their record down to 1-3 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Pittsfield, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westfield will be home for the holidays to greet Wahconah Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pittsfield will be home for the holidays to greet Monument Mountain at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
