Citrus and Lecanto are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2020, but likely not for long. The Citrus Hurricanes will take on the Lecanto Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hetman wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Citrus kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Lecanto unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against The Villages Charter, falling 9-1.

Lecanto saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shawna Griffin, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Citrus' record is now 5-4. As for Lecanto, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
