Basketball Preview: Prairie Valley Bulldogs vs. Saint Jo Panthers
Prairie Valley is 1-7 against the Panthers since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Prairie Valley Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the Saint Jo Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Prairie Valley came into Tuesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Midway by a score of 33-26 on Tuesday.
In what's become a running theme this season, Saint Jo gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They put the hurt on Forestburg with a sharp 53-30 win. The win was nothing new for Saint Jo as they're now sitting on three straight.
Prairie Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Saint Jo, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-10.
Prairie Valley was dealt a bruising 65-17 loss at the hands of the Panthers when the teams last played back in January. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Prairie Valley was down 32-11.
