Football Preview: West Carroll War Eagles vs. Perry County Vikings        
        
		
             West Carroll has played every game this season on their home field, but they'll have to hit the road  on Friday. They will take on the Perry County Vikings at 7:00  p.m. West Carroll knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 31 point or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Perry County likes a good challenge.
 Last Friday, West Carroll came up short against First Assembly Christian  and fell  49-38. The loss was the War Eagles' first of the season.
 Despite the  loss, West Carroll got top-tier performance from   Jayden Milton, who rushed for 278 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per carry. Milton's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 238  rushing yards dating back to last season.
 Even though they lost, West Carroll was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 278  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 238  rushing yards in three consecutive  contests.
 Meanwhile, Perry County was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They had to suffer through a   29-0 loss at the hands of Houston County.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, West Carroll  fell to 2-1. As for Perry County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Everything came up roses for West Carroll against Perry County in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023 as the  team secured  a  47-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Carroll since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
