Pace extended their winning streak to ten on Thursday, bumping them up to 20-0-1. They came out on top against the Weslaco East Wildcats by a score of 7-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-0 back in February.

Nubia Alvarado spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on nine hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Valeria Alvarado and Sofia Alejandro did most of the damage at the plate: Valeria got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run and three RBI, while Alejandro went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. America Delgado was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

As for Weslaco East, they now have a losing record of 10-11. Their defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

On Weslaco East's side, Alanah Bautista made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Elaine Hernandez, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
