Plateau Valley skates past Crested Butte with ease

The Plateau Valley Cowboys put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to Crested Butte for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-28 win on the road. Fans of Plateau Valley have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
It was another big night for Emaline Ealey, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Plateau Valley's points. Another player making a difference was Meloni Miller, who scored 9 points along with 11 rebounds and 4 steals.
Plateau Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Crested Butte, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Plateau Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against De Beque at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. De Beque will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Crested Butte will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lake City at 4:30 p.m. on December 19th.
