Softball Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Hillcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 23-5 to the Maynard Tigers. One positive for the Screamin Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Maynard, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coincidentally, Hillcrest and Maynard will both be playing Armorel the next time they take the field. Maynard will host Armorel at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Hillcrest will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on April 1.
