The Carroll Chargers will face off against the Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Fort Wayne Northrop will be up against a hot Carroll  squad: the  team just extended their winning streak to three. The Chargers' pitcher stepped up to hand Northridge  a   7-0 shutout  on Saturday.
 Taylor Danley was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. Those  15  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  RBI.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kaelyn Kinsey, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  triple. Those  two  doubles gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Izzy Rapson, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double.
Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Northrop made easy work of Churubusco  on Saturday and carried off  a  10-3 win. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive  victory against them.
 Kendall Huth spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits.
 On the hitting side,  Karlie Bruce was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brilee Day, who  went 3-for-5 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Fort Wayne Northrop  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. They are 11-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
 Carroll's record is now 20-5-1. As for Fort Wayne Northrop, their record now sits at 13-11.
