Volleyball Game Preview: Davis County Mustangs vs. Knoxville Panthers + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Davis County will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will square off against the Knoxville Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Knoxville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Davis County, who comes in off a win.

Davis County will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Ottumwa, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 2-1.

Meanwhile, Knoxville didn't have quite enough to beat Winterset on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Panthers have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The win got Davis County back to even at 1-1. As for Knoxville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Davis County might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Knoxville in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
