Football Recap: Sacred Heart Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Sacred Heart Academy's offense. They were beaten by the Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers 35-0 on Friday. The Irish have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nouvel Catholic Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Parker Kingsbury, who picked up 109 receiving yards and one TD. Kingsbury also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making four total tackles.

Sacred Heart Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Nouvel Catholic Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sacred Heart Academy will host Lake City at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Irish will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.13 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Nouvel Catholic Central, they will welcome Everest Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Everest Collegiate's defense has only allowed 11.8 points per game this season, so Nouvel Catholic Central's offense will have their work cut out for them.
