Basketball Recap: Whitehall-Yearling's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Whitehall-Yearling came into Friday's contest having lost ten straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 57-51 victory over the Grandview Heights Bobcats on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-57 back in December of 2024.

Whitehall-Yearling's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14. As for Grandview Heights, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Whitehall-Yearling has already played their next match, a 60-53 loss against Northside Christian on the 1st. As for Grandview Heights, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Grandview Heights Bobcats challenge the Bexley Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grandview Heights is facing Bexley at the right time seeing as Bexley is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
