Baseball Recap: Porterville Comes Up Short

Porterville lost to Mt. Whitney on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Porterville's loss dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for Mt. Whitney, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Porterville is set to square off against their familiar foe Redwood at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mt. Whitney will challenge rival Golden West at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
