Conestoga Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cordell Bair, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Bair a new career-high. Another was Adam McDowell, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Conestoga Valley's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Manheim Central, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Manheim Central's way against Conestoga Valley in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, as Manheim Central made off with a 9-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Manheim Central since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
