Basketball Recap: Caden Leininger's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Gorham Fayette over North Central

Gorham Fayette lost against North Central back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gorham Fayette Eagles took a hard 59-41 fall against the North Central Eagles. Gorham Fayette has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caden Leininger, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xander Goble, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

Gorham Fayette's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for North Central, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7.

Gorham Fayette wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 50-35 defeat against Hilltop on the 9th. North Central has also already played their next contest, a 41-15 loss against Pettisville on the 9th.
