Softball Recap: Lake Mills Takes a Loss

Lake Mills fell victim to Portage and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 6-0 to the Warriors. The L-Cats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Lake Mills' loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Portage, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Lake Mills will head out to square off against Columbus at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Portage, they will be playing at home against Lodi at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
