Baseball Recap: Calhoun County Saints vs. C.A. Johnson Hornets
Calhoun County was the 16-1 winner over C.A. Johnson when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Calhoun County Saints fell 8-3 to the C.A. Johnson Hornets on Thursday. Calhoun County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Christopher Glover, II was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit. Glover, II has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive pitching appearances. Glover, II was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with a stolen base.
