Soccer Preview: Wilbur Cross vs. Law        
        
		
             Wilbur Cross has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will venture away from home to  take on the Law Lawmen  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Law took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Wilbur Cross, who comes in off a win.
 Wilbur Cross will roll into the  matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any  goals  on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Branford  on Tuesday. Wilbur Cross blew past Branford 4-0. The result was nothing new for the Governors, who have now won four games by three  goals or more  so far this season.

 Adam Trachten scored all four of Wilbur Cross' goals,  bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.
 Meanwhile,  Law unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost  10-0 to Notre Dame. While losing is never fun, the Lawmen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings  (they are ranked 87th, while the Green Knights are ranked first).
 Wilbur Cross' win bumped their record up to 7-3-1. As for Law, they now  have a losing record at 4-5-3.
 Wilbur Cross was able to grind out a solid  victory over Law when the teams last played  back in September, winning  2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wilbur Cross since the  team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
