Baseball Recap: Tates Creek Takes a Loss

Tates Creek lost against Lexington Christian back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Commodores fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 5-4. The Commodores have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tates Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Lexington Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Tates Creek and Lexington Christian will both be playing Lafayette the next time they take the field. The Commodores will head out to face the Generals at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
