Basketball Recap: Eleanor Roosevelt Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bladensburg last Thursday, Eleanor Roosevelt came back down to earth. The Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders fell just short of the Bowie Bulldogs by a score of 45-42 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Raiders have suffered against the Bulldogs since February 14, 2022.

Eleanor Roosevelt now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Bowie, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Eleanor Roosevelt will take on Flowers in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bowie and Laurel will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Laurel's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
