Basketball Game Preview: Camdenton Lakers vs. Eldon Mustangs

The Camdenton Lakers will take on the Eldon Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

After dropping their season opener at home, Eldon is headed out to face a Lakers squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Camdenton received a blow last Thursday as they fell 82-67 to Jefferson City.

Meanwhile, Eldon earned a 72-61 victory over Capital City on Tuesday.

Camdenton better keep an eye on Corin Davis. She was instrumental in Eldon's win, dropping a double-double with 19 points and 18 boards. Those 18 rebounds gave Davis a new career-high. Ali Byrd was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to eight boards and six assists.

Camdenton didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Eldon in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 71-66 win.
