Chardon had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the eight-goal drubbing they dealt Holy Name on Thursday. The Hilltoppers put the hurt on the Green Wave with a sharp 8-0 victory. The win was nothing new for Chardon as they're now sitting on three straight.

Their offense was hitting Holy Name from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Anthony Catania led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Chardon's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Chardon didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-2 draw against Gilmour Academy on the 28th. As for Holy Name, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Barberton on the 23rd.
