Volleyball Recap: Roy Takes a Loss

Roy lost against Bonneville back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Royals fell 3-1 to the Lakers. The Royals' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

While Roy ultimately came up short, they really made Bonneville work, particularly in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 16-25, 27-25.

Bonneville can attribute much of their success to Jase Musgrave, who had four digs and one block. What's more, Musgrave racked up 41 assists, the most he's had since back in March.

Roy's record now sits at 4-10. As for Bonneville, they moved to 8-13 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Roy will challenge rival Clearfield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bonneville is set to take on their familiar foe Woods Cross at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
