Baseball Recap: Eaglecrest Raptors vs. Denver East Angels
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cherry Creek, Eaglecrest was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Denver East Angels by a score of 7-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raptors also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.
Brian Moreland made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.
