Last Thursday, Steward took their contest with ease, bagging a 66-24 win over Hampton Roads Academy. That looming 66-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Spartans yet this season.

Steward had a senior duo take command as Donovan Richardson went 7 of 11 on his way to 17 points and Xavier Nelson dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. The game was Richardson's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Enrique Ortega, who posted nine points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Hopewell blew past Prince George, posting a 66-30 victory. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Steward pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points per game. As for Hopewell, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.
