Basketball Recap: Napoleon Beats Bowling Green for Their Fourth Straight Win

Napoleon won the last time they faced Bowling Green and things went their way on Thursday too. The Napoleon Wildcats strolled past the Bowling Green Bobcats with points to spare, taking the game 40-22. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 246th, while the Bobcats are ranked 533rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Napoleon can attribute much of their success to Ava Good, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Rosebrook, who posted three points and three steals.

The win (which was Napoleon's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Bowling Green, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
