Recap: Johnson vs. Westlake
The Johnson Jaguars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight defeat. They fell just short of Westlake by a score of 2-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Johnson couldn't quite close it out.
Johnson's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Westlake, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-3 record this season.
Johnson will head out on the road to face off against Lake Travis at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Johnson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Westlake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Akins at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
