Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Gryphons vs. Seton Conquistadors

Trinity Christian is 0-10 against Seton since January of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Trinity Christian Gryphons will host the Seton Conquistadors at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Trinity Christian turned things around against Evergreen Christian on Wednesday. They snuck past the Eagles with a 51-45 victory.

Meanwhile, Seton waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They skirted past the Chargers 46-43. Given the Conquistadors' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Chargers are ranked 144th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Seton's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Trinity Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
