Baseball Recap: Davis Sr. Blue Devils vs. Whitney Wildcats
Davis Sr. extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 17-9-1 in the process. They came up short against the Whitney Wildcats, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Monday.
Davis Sr. saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Larsen, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.
As for Whitney, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games.

The Blue Devils will challenge Fairfield at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (40 vs. 459). The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Davis Sr. 3.7, the Falcons 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Whitney (ranked 30th) will meet Granite Bay (ranked 138th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
