Recap: Spring Lions vs. Klein Collins Tigers
Even though the Klein Collins Tigers scored an imposing 65 points on Tuesday, the Spring Lions still came out on top. Spring took their game against Klein Collins 77-65. The win was all the more spectacular given Spring's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 395th, while Klein Collins is ranked 173rd).
Spring's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cedric Richardson led the charge by scoring 9 points along with 10 assists and 8 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tadarius Wade, who scored 20 points.
Spring's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Klein Collins, they have yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 4-1 record.
Spring is on the road again on Thursday and play against Bryan at 2:00 p.m. on November 30th. As for Klein Collins, they will face off against Cleveland at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
